Assyriska Turabdin IK achieved an important victory in Division 3 Nordöstra Götaland when they defeated Hjulsbro IK 3-1 at UCS Arena. The match started intensely, and it was the visiting team that gained momentum from the outset. Already in the sixth minute, Arian Banda received the ball just outside Hjulsbro's penalty area and scored the opening goal for Assyriska Turabdin.
In the 26th minute, Dijan Vukojevic received a yellow card after a tough duel. Only three minutes later, his teammate Ashor Denka-Nisan received a similar warning for fouling an opponent in midfield.
In the 32nd minute, Hjulsbro's Arvid Walan was cautioned after a hard tackle. But his team continued to fight, and in the 47th minute, Alhagie Ceesay managed to head in the equalizer for the home team.
Assyriska Turabdin continued to apply pressure, and in the 57th minute, they regained the lead through Jakob Strandsäter, who fired the ball in after a nice pass from a teammate. The end of the match was characterized by tough duels, and cards began to be issued more frequently. In the 90th minute, Alhagie Ceesay received a yellow card, making it very difficult for Hjulsbro to get back into the match. In the 92nd minute, Dijan Vukojevic put the final nail in the coffin by scoring to make it 3-1 for Assyriska Turabdin. The match ended 3-1 in favor of the away team, which secured important points in the fight to avoid relegation.
