IK Tord secured an important victory away against Högsby IK at Arena Ulf Davidson 1 in front of an audience of 120 people. The match started evenly with chances for both sides, but it was IK Tord who took the lead in the 28th minute through Dennis Bilanovic. Högsby IK fought back, however, and equalized in the 61st minute with a goal from Ibrahim Kalilu Fofanah.

The match took a dramatic turn in the 67th minute when Högsby IK's Tom Lagneteg Nilsson was sent off. Despite being a man down, Högsby managed to withstand the pressure for a while, but in the 87th minute, IK Tord decided the match with a goal from Tobias Simmeborn.
