In an otherwise quite uneventful match between Högsby IK and Assyriska IF in Norrköping on Saturday afternoon, it was the visitors from Norrköping who managed to secure a 2-0 victory at Arena Ulf Davidson 1, in front of a crowd of zero.
The match, which was part of Division 3 Nordöstra Götaland for men, became dramatic early on as Högsby's David Petersson received a warning in just the twelfth minute. However, it wasn't until the thirtieth minute that Assyriska's Daniel Svärd also received a warning.
In the 32nd minute, the visitors from Norrköping were awarded a penalty, which Bylent Halili confidently converted, giving his team a 0-1 lead. Just two minutes later, Högsby substituted David Petersson for Hugo Henriksson, but it didn’t help the team's offensive efforts.

Assyriska made two late substitutions, bringing on Adam Frick and Gabriel Chamoun for Kutshi Moilo and Alhagie Ceesay respectively, but this did not affect the final result.
