On Saturday afternoon, Vimmerby IF faced Torstorps IF at Arena Ceosvallen 1 in front of an audience of 210 people. The match kicked off without any major chances from either team, but in the 39th minute, Dzenis Halilovic from Torstorps IF was fouled in the penalty area after a duel with Amel Komina from Vimmerby IF, resulting in a penalty kick. Halilovic stepped up himself and placed the ball behind Vimmerby’s goalkeeper.

Vimmerby then tried to claw back the deficit and began to create more chances. However, in the 52nd minute, Amel Komina received a warning after a tough tackle on a Torstorps player. Vimmerby continued to press, but struggled to break through Torstorps' tight defense.
