It didn’t take long before IK Sleipner took the lead. Just six minutes in, Oliver Blomdahl found the net and scored the first goal of the evening. Nässjö FF fought hard and had several chances to equalize, but IK Sleipner's defense held strong. Instead, Nässjö FF received two yellow cards in the first half, first to Tim Karlsson and then to Tobias Svensson.
IK Sleipner increased the tempo and took a solid lead before halftime. Sherali Yuldashev scored a penalty, and Gentrit Citaku added two goals in quick succession, bringing the score to 0-3 at halftime.
After the break, Nässjö FF tried to get back into the game by making two substitutions at halftime. Cedrick Angelo King Deumaga Tchangou and Ago Omerovic came on for Elliot Wik and Robin Herbertsson. However, IK Sleipner continued to dominate and added two more goals, one from Ezequiel Lucas and another from Gentrit Citaku.
Nässjö FF kept fighting but did not get a chance to score more goals, and instead, it was IK Sleipner who netted their fifth goal of the evening. Endrit Hyseni scored a consolation goal for Nässjö FF late in the match. IK Sleipner's William Lundell and Nässjö FF's Robin Dahl both received yellow cards in the last half hour, while Nässjö FF made two more substitutions.
The match ended 1-5 in favor of IK Sleipner, a well-deserved victory for the away team. Both players and coaching staff can be satisfied with the performance of the evening.
