Borens IK secured an important victory at home when they faced Torstorps IF in Division 3 North-Eastern Götaland on Sunday. The attendance was low, with only 60 people present at Borens IP, but those who were there witnessed an exciting match.

Already after 37 minutes, Torstorps IF took the lead when Viktor Björhn put the ball in the net. However, Borens IK did not give up and fought their way back into the match. In the 51st minute, Davor Jelic equalized, and just five minutes later, Haris Asic gave Borens IK the lead.

Torstorps IF tried to come back but struggled to create dangerous chances. Instead, it was Borens IK who sealed the match when Davor Jelic scored his second goal of the day in the 59th minute.

There were several substitutions in both teams, but none were able to score any more goals, and the match ended 3-1 in favor of Borens IK. Torstorps IF will have to continue fighting for points in the tough division, while Borens IK has given themselves a little boost up the table.
