BK Ljungsbro continued their unbeaten winning streak in Division 3 Nordöstra Götaland when they crushed Västerviks FF 9-1 at Maxivallen in Ljungsbro this Saturday afternoon. The home team, which leads the table by a wide margin, took an early grip on the match when David Lundgren opened the scoring already in the first minute. Just 20 minutes later, the lead was doubled when Nils Lindsten headed in a corner kick.
BK Ljungsbro continued to dominate the game, and in the 37th minute, Felix Nordin finally got on the scoresheet with a well-placed finish from a nice pass from his teammate. Västerviks FF, fighting to get back into the match, substituted Simon Sandholm for Dino Kamenjas, but it had little effect.
The second half began with a header from Nils Lindsten, which found the back of the net. Shortly thereafter, Västerviks FF's Abdirahman Aydarus Abdi received a yellow card for a foul tackle. But it didn’t help much, as Lindsten continued to dominate on the pitch and completed a hat trick when he scored 5-0 in the 62nd minute.
BK Ljungsbro replaced Albin Zidaric, David Cederholm, and Felix Nordin with Oliver Forslind, Felipe Reidler De Moraes, and Daniel Yaakob, but it was Isak Arvidsson Najhi who converted a penalty to make it 6-0 for Ljungsbro in the 70th minute. Daniel Deya Gorges, who came on just before the goal, scored two more for the home team. Amer Khalil reduced the score for Västerviks FF in the 89th minute, but it was largely inconsequential.
The match ended 9-1 in favor of BK Ljungsbro, who continue to dominate the table. Västerviks FF, on the other hand, will need to regroup in their upcoming matches if they want to climb up the standings. Referee Delaurence Masimango did not need to show a single red card throughout the match. The crowd of 575 celebrated a wonderful victory with their favorites.
