It was an exciting match between Borens IK and Hvetlanda GIF when the teams met at Idrottsparken in Motala. Borens IK took the lead early in the match when Gabi Morad delivered a fine performance and put the ball in the net in the seventh minute. Just four minutes later, Måns Lindman increased the lead to 2-0. However, Hvetlanda GIF fought their way back into the match and reduced the deficit through Karl Andersson in the thirtieth minute.
In the thirty-seventh minute, Hvetlanda GIF was awarded a penalty which Casper Eriksson skillfully converted, equalizing the match at 2-2. Just before halftime, Oscar Folkesson from Hvetlanda GIF received a warning for a hard tackle on a Borens player.

Hvetlanda GIF won the match 4-3, which relegated Borens IK down to eighth place in the table. Hvetlanda GIF finished the season in second-to-last place.
