On Friday evening, IFK Uddevalla and Melleruds IF faced off in Division 3 Nordvästra Götaland for men at Fridhemsvallen. Before the match, both teams were in 9th and 7th place in the table, respectively.

Just 7 minutes into the game, IFK Uddevalla opened the scoring with a goal from Marcus Knutsen, taking a 1-0 lead. Melleruds IF received a warning in the 19th minute after a tough tackle, and in the 33rd minute, IFK Uddevalla extended their lead with another goal from Fredrik Brändén.

Just before halftime, Marcus Knutsen scored his second goal of the evening, placing IFK Uddevalla in a commanding 3-0 lead.

At halftime, Melleruds IF made their first substitutions, but they could not turn the match around in the second half. Instead, Jonathan Larsson scored his first goal for IFK Uddevalla in the 80th minute, bringing the score to 4-0.
