The match between IF Väster and Vänersborgs IF kicked off on Thursday evening at Åkeredsvallen in front of an audience of 60 people. The referee Gustaf Johansson and his assistants Oscar Bakhouch and Pierre Eberhard Berg officiated the match.

IF Väster took control from the very beginning, and already in the 20th minute, Andreas Nilsson managed to score, putting the home team ahead 1-0. Just a few minutes later, in the 29th minute, Marcus Widengård increased the lead to 2-0.

In the second half, IF Väster continued to dominate, and in the 55th minute, Björn Bromander scored, extending the lead to 3-0. Then it was time for Marcus Widengård to score his second goal of the day in the 62nd minute, bringing the score to 4-0 for IF Väster.

Vänersborgs IF attempted to make some changes by substituting players, but it was still IF Väster that proved to be the stronger team. In the 90th minute, Marcus Widengård scored his third goal of the day, completing his hat trick and resulting in a final score of 5-0 in favor of IF Väster.

A convincing victory for IF Väster, who continued to impress in Division 3 Nordvästra Götaland. Vänersborgs IF had a tough day on the field and struggled to recover after the early goals from the home team.
