The match between Fässbergs IF and IFK Åmål at Åbyvallen 1 Artificial Turf turned out to be an exciting event in front of an audience of 136 people. Referee Daniel Särén was in charge, assisted by linesmen Rasim Avdic and Alexander Elfving.
The match started strongly for the home team Fässbergs IF, who took the lead in the 26th minute through Jimmie Hansson. IFK Åmål tried to make a comeback, and Johan Segerlind received a yellow card in the 29th minute. Shortly after, however, IFK Åmål equalized to 1-1 through David Johannesson in the 33rd minute.
In the second half, it was once again Fässbergs IF who took control. Jimmie Hansson scored his second goal of the day in the 71st minute, and Niklas Tandrup increased the lead to 3-1 just two minutes later. IFK Åmål continued to fight, and Lorens Junaid came on as a substitute in the 60th minute, but it was Fässbergs’ day.
Despite a late consolation goal from Simon Schullström Jansson of IFK Åmål in the 90th minute, they were unable to catch up. The result remained, and Fässbergs IF won the match 3-2. This result pleased both the players and the supporters present.
