The match between Fässbergs IF and Melleruds IF at Åbyvallen 1 Artificial Turf attracted 83 spectators this Saturday afternoon. Referee Mattias Gustafsson officiated, assisted by Jorge Tarouco and Kim Andersson.
It was Melleruds IF who opened the scoring in the 15th minute through Markus Svensson, and just four minutes later, Valon Gashi doubled the visitors' lead. However, Fässbergs IF managed to reduce the deficit before halftime, with Jimmie Hansson scoring and bringing the score to 1-2.
In the second half, Fässbergs IF continued to fight and equalized the match through Jashar Gorani in the 54th minute. Just four minutes later, they also took the lead with Jimmie Hansson scoring again. However, Melleruds IF did not give up, and in the 76th minute, Robin Jansson equalized to 3-3.
The match became heated towards the end, and several players received warnings, including both of Melleruds IF's goal scorers. But it was Fässbergs IF who ultimately managed to decide the match, with Niklas Tandrup scoring the winning goal at 4-3 in the 90th minute, securing three points for his team. A thrilling match that was evenly balanced for a long time, but where Fässbergs IF ultimately came out on top.
