IFK Åmål and Edet FK met at Örnäsvallens IP in front of an empty stand on Saturday afternoon. The referee Kristoffer Thorold officiated the match, assisted by Jorge Tarouco and Joakim Wallenås.

It was the league leaders IFK Åmål who took the lead after just 20 minutes when Michael Halldan scored for the home team. Edet FK tried to get back into the game and made a substitution in the 57th minute when Marcus Olsson came on for Almedin Besic.

IFK Åmål continued to dominate and extended their lead to 2-0 in the 80th minute with a goal from Jesper Englund. However, the joy was short-lived for the home team as Cristian Patrascoiu received his second yellow card and was sent off in the 82nd minute.

Despite being one man down, IFK Åmål still managed to score 3-0 through David Johannesson in the 89th minute. Edet FK did not give up and reduced the deficit in the dying minutes through Marcus Olsson, but it was not enough as the match ended 3-1 in favor of IFK Åmål.

After the victory, IFK Åmål remained at the top of the table while Edet FK stayed in eighth place. A well-deserved victory for IFK Åmål in this well-played match at home.
