The match between Stångenäs AIS and Melleruds IF started at Brastad Arena in front of an audience of 150 people. Referee Fredrik Oppong blew the whistle to kick off the match, and it didn't take long for Stångenäs to take the lead. Andreas Clarholm scored in the fifth minute, and then Daniel Vilhelmsson increased the lead to 2-0 in the 14th minute.

Stångenäs continued to dominate the match, and Vilhelmsson scored his second goal in the 23rd minute. Melleruds IF received two warnings during the first half, with Erik Skogström and Simon Svensson each receiving a yellow card.

In the second half, Stångenäs scored three more goals, by Jim Lundh, Andreas Clarholm, and once again Daniel Vilhelmsson, who completed his hat trick in the 93rd minute. Melleruds IF tried to substitute new players in an effort to change the course of the match, but they never managed to threaten Stångenäs AIS.

When the referee blew the whistle to end the match, the score was 6-0 in favor of the home team, Stångenäs AIS. With this victory, they solidified their third place in the league table, while Melleruds IF remained at the bottom of Division 3 Nordvästra Götaland.
