It was a sunny Saturday afternoon when Kortedala IF and Säffle FF met at Kortedalavallen 1 Grass in front of a crowd of zero people. Referee Ademir Avdic officiated the match with assistance from Sirwan Zangana and Viktor Svarén.

Already after eight minutes, Kortedala took the lead through Valon Hetemi, who also extended it to 2-0 in the 39th minute. Ihab Yasin added to the score, making it 3-0 shortly after halftime in the 53rd minute.

Säffle tried to make a comeback by bringing on Mohammad Waysi in the 63rd minute, but it was Kortedala who continued to dominate. Bahadir Erdal was subbed in for Kortedala in the 64th minute, followed by Leonard Ochen in the 71st minute, and they maintained pressure against a Säffle side that struggled to create any dangerous opportunities.

The match concluded with a stunning goal from Mohammed Omeirat in the 88th minute, sealing the final score at 4-0 in favor of Kortedala. Säffle's Mohammad Waysi received a yellow card in the 92nd minute.

After the match, Kortedala IF stood in an impressive second place in the table, while Säffle FF occupied seventh place. It was a well-played match from Kortedala’s side, while Säffle will need to regroup for their upcoming matches.
