The match started intensely with Älvsborg FF taking the lead just 9 minutes in through Emil Wennerstrand. IFK Åmål quickly responded, and Ebo Eduam equalized to 1-1 just three minutes later. But Älvsborg FF showed they were the stronger team and took the lead again through Wennerstrand in the 21st minute.

Mattias Wikström then extended the lead to 3-1 for Älvsborg FF before halftime. When Emil Wennerstrand completed his hat-trick and made it 4-1 in the 65th minute, it seemed settled.

However, IFK Åmål did not give up, and Cameron Alexander Selamie reduced the score to 4-2 immediately after. When Sven Kulovic received a red card for Åmål, things seemed to get even tougher for them. Despite this, Selamie managed to score his second goal and bring it to 4-3.

The match took a dramatic turn when IFK Åmål's Robin Svensson and goalkeeper coach Thomas Magnusson received red cards at the end of the match. Despite a late push from the away team, Älvsborg FF managed to hold on and secure the victory with a score of 4-3.

With this victory, Älvsborg FF finished in fourth place in the table while IFK Åmål ended up in ninth place in Division 3 Nordvästra Götaland. An entertaining match that featured many goals and dramatic events.
