The match of the year between Kärra KIF and Trollhättans BoIS at Klarebergsvallen 1 Grass attracted 76 spectators to the stands. Referee Mirza Beculic and his assistants Dragos Raileanu and Ayoub Marabi took charge as the teams kicked off the match at 1:00 PM on Saturday afternoon.

Trollhättans BoIS was the stronger team in the first half, and Johan Kortekangas managed to score a penalty after 44 minutes, giving them a 0-1 lead. Five minutes later, Hampus Sikström extended their advantage to 0-2.

However, Andreas Ekblad gave Kärra KIF a glimmer of hope when he reduced the deficit to 1-2 at the beginning of the second half. After 64 minutes, Leonard Ochen equalized, and the match was suddenly wide open.

Trollhättans BoIS chose to substitute Rasmus Larsson and Anton Westman in an attempt to regain control. Ron Bergqvist was brought on for Kärra KIF in hopes of turning the match in their favor.

Jesper Ahlcrona was substituted in for Trollhättans BoIS after 77 minutes, but it was his teammate Mattias Wahman who would become the match hero. Wahman managed to score the decisive goal at 2-3 in injury time, securing three points for Trollhättans BoIS.

Niclas Andersson and Andreas Ekblad received yellow cards for Kärra KIF during the match. Durim Bublica was substituted in the final minutes for Kärra KIF but could not make a difference in the outcome.
