Hestrafors IF faced Västra Frölunda IF in an exciting match in Division 3 Nordvästra Götaland. The match began at Bollevi A in front of an audience of 60 people on Saturday afternoon.
Already in the 18th minute, Hestrafors received a red card when Arbër Ibishi was sent off. Shortly thereafter, Västra Frölunda took the lead with a goal from Simon Chekroun in the 24th minute, which meant Hestrafors had to work hard with one player less.
However, Hestrafors did not give up, and in the 51st minute, Linus Nordenskiöld equalized with a beautiful free-kick goal. Just a few minutes later, Nordenskiöld stepped up again and scored from a penalty, giving Hestrafors a 2-1 lead.
Unfortunately, Västra Frölunda managed to equalize again in the 57th minute through Bryan Johansson. The match remained tight, and Västra Frölunda took the lead once more with Simon Chekroun scoring his second goal of the match, this time with a header, in the 85th minute.
Despite an intense search for an equalizer from Hestrafors, they were unable to get the ball in the net and the match ended 2-3 in favor of Västra Frölunda. Despite the loss, Hestrafors demonstrated a fighting spirit and good morale while playing with one man down for large parts of the match.
Västra Frölunda strengthened their position in the league table while Hestrafors dropped points and remains in 7th place. It was an exciting and entertaining match that offered many scoring chances and drama for both players and spectators.
