Herrestads AIF won a close match against Åsarp-Trädet FK on Tuesday evening at Undavallen Artificial Turf. The match ended 2-1 in favor of the home team, who played with great fighting spirit.

Herrestads AIF applied pressure on the visitors right from the start and had several dangerous chances in the first half. After 23 minutes, Anton Engelbrektsson scored the goal the home crowd had been longing for. The ball was headed into the net following a fine corner from the right side.

Åsarp-Trädet FK fought hard to equalize, and in the 65th minute, Olle Kalén managed to score with a great header. The header goal made it 1-1 on the scoreboard, bringing excitement back into the match.

But it was the home team that would prove to be the strongest. After a nice combination in the penalty area, Haidar Omar was fouled and awarded a penalty kick in the 82nd minute. Omar himself took the penalty and elegantly scored, making it 2-1 for Herrestads AIF.

Åsarp-Trädet FK desperately tried to find an equalizer in the final minutes, but the home team remained solid and secured the victory. Herrestads AIF could celebrate an important win in front of their 100 spectators in the stands.
