The match between IFK Mariestad and IK Kongahälla kicked off at Lekevi IP A-plan in front of an empty stand, as spectators were not allowed on-site during this Division 3 match.

IFK Mariestad quickly took the lead when Lorik Bunjaku scored 1-0 after just 10 minutes of play. However, Bunjaku was not satisfied with just one goal and doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 28th minute.

The match continued to be intense with several warnings, including one for IFK Mariestad's Jacob Keymer and later for IK Kongahälla's Isac Ohlsson.

Dorian Nikola extended IFK Mariestad's lead to 3-0 shortly after halftime, and it looked like a clear victory for the home team. But IK Kongahälla gained new energy and reduced the deficit to 3-1 through Isac Ohlsson in the 61st minute.

Shortly after his goal, Isac Ohlsson received a yellow card, and IK Kongahälla fought on to get back into the match. However, IFK Mariestad held firm, and Jacob Keymer secured the victory by scoring 4-1 in the 72nd minute.

Several substitutions were made in the closing stages of the match, including the substitution of goalscorer Lorik Bunjaku for IFK Mariestad and Isac Ohlsson for IK Kongahälla.
