It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Sörbyvallen 1 when Brålanda IF welcomed Jonsereds IF in Division 3 Nordvästra Götaland. The attendance was sparse, with only 50 people present when referee Adnan Busuladzic kicked off the match.
It was Jonsereds IF who took the lead early in the game. Just five minutes in, Oskar Andersson received the ball in front of the goal and easily placed it past the Brålanda goalkeeper. Brålanda tried to respond immediately but to no avail.
In the nineteenth minute, Jakob Helldén received a warning for a tough tackle on a Jonsereds player. Just a minute later, Jonsereds would extend their lead. Linus Carestam broke free and easily made it 0-2 for the visiting team.
Only twelve minutes later, Carestam scored his second goal of the day when he received the ball inside the penalty area and placed it low into the Brålanda goal. Jonsereds continued to control the match and created more chances.
In the 48th minute, Jonsereds would extend their lead to four goals. Oskar Andersson again received the ball in front of the goal and hammered it in past the goalkeeper. Brålanda tried to fight their way back into the game, and Valon Gashi showcased a fine individual effort when he found the net in the 61st minute.
Brålanda attempted to maintain their pressure and made a substitution in the 68th minute when Hampus Hansen came on for Filip Nilsson. Jonsereds made three substitutions in the 70th minute when Ahmad Hassan, August Lindberg, and Mathias Holmberg replaced Oskar Andersson, Rasmus Karlsson, and Pelle Jakobsson.
Just five minutes later, Erik Aronsson scored Brålanda's second goal of the day when he tapped in the ball after a nice pass from Gashi. However, there would be no dramatic turnaround, as Jonsereds closed out the match when Ahmad Hassan scored in the 87th minute.
The match ended 2-5 in favor of Jonsereds after an impressive performance from the visiting team. Brålanda will need to work hard to earn points in their upcoming matches.
