IFK Mariestad and Alingsås IF FF met at Lekevi IP A-plan in front of an audience of 175 people in a match that proved to be an intense experience for both players and spectators. Referee Claes Knutsson blew the whistle to kick off the match at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 6, and the game was underway.

Just eight minutes into the match, IFK Mariestad took the lead through Lorik Bunjaku, who found the back of the net. However, Alingsås IF FF showed their strength and equalized to 1-1 after 16 minutes through Noah Lundstedt. But just three minutes later, IFK Mariestad regained the lead thanks to Nils Sjögren, and victory seemed within reach.

IFK Mariestad extended their lead to two goals after 32 minutes with Lorik Bunjaku scoring his second goal of the evening. Alingsås IF FF, however, managed to reduce the deficit before halftime through Christoffer Krabbe, who scored from within the penalty area.

At halftime, Alingsås IF FF made their first substitution, bringing in Benjamin Hacker for Nils Björkqvist. IFK Mariestad took the opportunity to substitute Nils Sjögren for Dorian Nikola. Shortly after the substitution, Rami Safar from the home team received a yellow card, and just a few minutes later, he received a second yellow and was sent off.

Alingsås IF FF tried to capitalize on their numerical advantage by substituting Gustav Johansson for Erik Gustafsson, but it was instead IFK Mariestad who substituted Lorik Bunjaku for Simon Blomqvist. Christoffer Krabbe received his second yellow card for Alingsås IF FF and was also sent off.
