IFK Mariestad and Alingsås IF FF met at Lekevi IP A-plan in front of an audience of 175 people in a match that proved to be an intense experience for both players and spectators. Referee Claes Knutsson blew the whistle to kick off the match at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 6, and the game was underway.

Just eight minutes into the match, IFK Mariestad took the lead through Lorik Bunjaku, who found the back of the net. However, Alingsås IF FF showed their strength and equalized to 1-1 after 16 minutes through Noah Lundstedt. Alingsås IF FF tried to capitalize on their numerical advantage by substituting Gustav Johansson for Erik Gustafsson, but it was instead IFK Mariestad who substituted Lorik Bunjaku for Simon Blomqvist.
