The match between IFK Kalix and IFK Umeå at Furuvallen offered an exciting and intense game with many goal chances and drama.
Already after six minutes, referee Simon Granström brought out the yellow card for IFK Umeå's Rasmus Portin after a tough tackle. However, it was IFK Kalix who took the lead in the 18th minute when Samuel Wiklund scored to make it 1-0 with a well-placed shot.
IFK Kalix continued to press on, and in the 36th minute, they extended their lead through Samir Sandberg to 2-0. But IFK Umeå did not give up and reduced the score to 2-1 just five minutes later thanks to Erik Westbom.
The second half was just as intense, with several sharp chances for both teams. In the 88th minute, IFK Kalix was awarded a free kick on the edge of the penalty area, and Eric Juntti calmly placed the ball into the net to make it 3-1 for the home team.
IFK Umeå did not give up, and in the last minute of the match, Edvin Kenning managed to reduce the score to 3-2 with a fine finish. But despite a strong finish from the visiting team, IFK Kalix held on and secured the victory.
After the match, IFK Kalix is in 3rd place in the table while IFK Umeå is in 5th place. It was a well-played and entertaining match that kept the crowd at Furuvallen on the edge of their seats all the way to the final whistle.
