Sandviks IK achieved a convincing victory over league leaders Umeå FC Akademi on Thursday evening. The match was played at home at Sandviks IP in front of an audience of 348 people. The referee, Sara Wiinikka, officiated the match with assistance from Pierluigi Meucci and Simon Vedemyr.

Sandviks IK started the match strongly, and in the 17th minute, the home team took the lead when Hugo Brännström scored to make it 1-0. Just two minutes later, his brother Ludvig Brännström added another goal, giving Sandviks an early 2-0 lead.

Linus Höber from Sandviks IK received a yellow card in the 86th minute, while Joel Carlsson from Umeå FC Akademi was cautioned in injury time.
