IFK Luleå Akademi secured a comfortable victory at home when they faced Röbäcks IF in Division 3 Norra Norrland. The match was played at an empty Nyabvallen with Tilde Larsson as the referee, alongside her assistants Anton Backelind and Noel Bergström.
Just nine minutes in, IFK took the lead when Viktor Sjöholm found the net, and only twenty minutes later, Alexander Strandemo increased the lead to 2-0. Shortly before halftime, Axel Sundberg scored the third goal, making it look like IFK would have an easy win.
At halftime, Röbäcks IF brought on Pelle Stenmark to try and turn the match around, but it would prove to be too late. IFK also opted to substitute three players at once, with Samuel Lindgren, Abdirabi Gure Sanweyne, and Sejran Muhamet Ataev coming on.
Shortly after the substitutions, Axel Sundberg received a yellow card, and Röbäck went on the offensive by bringing on Sinthujan Ponnampalam. With only eleven minutes left, Casper Ericsson managed to reduce the deficit for Röbäck, giving the team a glimmer of hope. But IFK did not back down, and just a minute later, Abdirabi Gure Sanweyne scored his first goal of the match, making it 4-1.
After yet another substitution for IFK, William Lundqvist entered the pitch. IFK nailed the final coffin when Samuel Lindgren scored, increasing the lead to 5-1. Röbäcks IF brought in Viktor Widmark in a last-ditch effort to come back, but it was too late, and the final whistle sounded, giving a clear victory to IFK Luleå Akademi.
