Ängby IF secured an important victory against Råsunda IS in a very well-played match at Skytteholms IP 1. Ängby IF dominated the match from the start, and it was no surprise when they scored the first goal through Joakim Melander in the 28th minute.
However, Råsunda IS responded immediately, equalizing just seven minutes later through Welat Kavak. After that, the play was even, but Ängby IF maintained slightly better control of the ball and regained the lead in the 49th minute with a goal from John Rosander.
Råsunda IS desperately attempted to equalize again, but the Ängby IF defense held strong, and in the 90th minute, Daban Saeed secured the win, setting the final score at 1-3.
The points are much needed for Ängby IF in their pursuit of a better position in the standings. For Råsunda IS, however, it will be a tough uphill battle in their effort to avoid relegation. Referee Denis Grabus and his assistants Jesper Fredholm and Frank Worthington did a good job, and the match appeared to be very fair. A total of 65 people were present at the venue.
