IK Franke - Vallentuna BK (3 - 5)
Match in Division 3 Norra Svealand, men 2019
Match start: 2019-06-25 at 20:00
Venue: Råby IP 3 (konstgräs)

An exciting meeting between IK Franke and Vallentuna BK took place on Tuesday evening at Råby IP 3. Unfortunately, there was no audience present, but the match could be viewed by those who followed it via livestream. The referee Robert Nyberg officiated the match, assisted by Jonken Gustafsson and Heba Saadieh.

The match started with strong pressure from Vallentuna BK, and already in the twelfth minute, they managed to score the first goal through Mathias Ericsson. However, IK Franke wasn't ready to give up and quickly responded with two goals from Eric Engström in the 32nd and 35th minutes, which gave the home team the lead in the match. But Engström wasn’t done yet; he scored his third goal in the 38th minute, completing a hat trick.

IK Franke now needed to hold on until halftime, but with two minutes left before the break, William De Carro received a warning. This was a sign that there was still a whole half left to play and anything could happen.

The second half began with a substitution for Vallentuna BK, looking to change the situation. This paid off when Yahya Sharif came onto the pitch in the 63rd minute, and just five minutes later, Mathias Ericsson scored his second goal, reducing the deficit to 3-2.

IK Franke then responded with one of their own substitutions, but it didn’t help. Vallentuna BK continued to apply pressure, and in the 81st minute, Adam Shalabi scored his first goal of the match, equalizing at 3-3. With the football cliché that it's dangerous to lead by only one goal in mind, IK Franke was eager to score and regain the lead. However, things didn’t go as planned when Vallentuna BK scored in the 90th minute through Andreas Vikström, allowing the visitors to take the lead for the first time since the beginning of the match. But it wasn’t over yet; in the fourth minute of injury time, Adam Shalabi scored his second goal of the match, and Vallentuna BK was finally able to leave the pitch with a 5-3 victory.

The match featured hard-fought and powerful attacks from both teams, but it was Vallentuna BK that ultimately managed to score the most goals. It is always nice to see an even and tough match, even though it is always disappointing for the losing team.
