The match started intensely, with players from both teams demonstrating their eagerness early on. After eleven minutes, the goal that would prove to be the only one of the match was scored. Yahya Sharif from Vallentuna BK made a well-placed shot that found its way behind the IFK Österåker FK goalkeeper, giving the home team a 1-0 lead.
