However, Västerås IK started to wake up and reduced the deficit to 3-1 through André Pacheco Söderberg in the 37th minute. He was also the one who scored the team's second goal, bringing the score to 3-2 before halftime.

But Newroz FC showed no mercy in the second half. Roni Ali scored his second goal of the match, and Welat Kavak added his second goal of the day, making it 5-2 for Newroz after 56 minutes.

Roni Ali continued to be on fire, scoring his third goal in the match before Antoine Grönborg also added his second goal, with the team leading by a whopping 8-2.

The match ended in the best possible way for Newroz when Welat Kavak completed his hat trick, finalizing the score at 9-2.
