On a sunny Saturday afternoon, BK Kenty B faced Smedby AIS B at Fredriksbergs IP in Division 3 Östergötland, women’s. Unfortunately, the audience was absent, but that did not prevent the teams from delivering an exciting match. Referee Stefan Persson blew the whistle to kick off the match at 14:30, and it didn't take long for BK Kenty B to score their first goal, which came just nine minutes in through Clara Griph.
BK Kenty B continued to dominate the game and managed to score their second goal after 22 minutes, courtesy of Párvati Holmström Martin-Antonaya. Smedby AIS B did not give up and tried to increase the pressure, and their tactics paid off after 30 minutes when Lovisa Wikdahl Klockare reduced the score for the visiting team.
At the end of the first half, Smedby AIS B kept pressing and managed to equalize through Ebba Jaensson, bringing the teams into halftime with a score of 2-2.
At the start of the second half, Smedby AIS B showed that they wanted the win more than BK Kenty B. After 55 minutes, Agnes Ekberg found the net, giving the visitors a 2-3 lead. BK Kenty B fought to regain control but failed to get the ball into the net.
Towards the end of the match, Smedby AIS B scored their fourth goal through Agnes Ekberg again, thus securing the victory with a score of 2-4. An impressive turnaround by the visiting team, who showed determination and spirit throughout the match. BK Kenty B can, however, be proud of their performance despite the loss.
