It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Viksjövallen when IFK Viksjö hosted Uppsala-Kurd FK in Division 3 Östra Svealand. The audience had gathered to watch the two teams face off on the field under the guidance of referee Suhel Youssef and his assistant referees Volkan Dogan and Panajot Gjoka.
It didn’t take long before the first caution was issued, to IFK Viksjö’s Anton Andersson in the 14th minute. However, it was Uppsala-Kurd FK that took the lead in the match when Sunday Bale scored to make it 0-1 in the 19th minute. IFK Viksjö tried to get back into the game and made a substitution in the 42nd minute, where Adam Westin replaced Tim Rydbäck.
In the second half, Uppsala-Kurd FK continued to dominate, and Sunday Bale was on the scoresheet again, this time extending the lead to 0-2 in the 58th minute. Shortly thereafter, Kofi Jorday Aidoo scored to make it 0-3 in the 69th minute. IFK Viksjö attempted to mount a comeback and reduced the deficit with a header from Robin Nordblad in the 86th minute, but Uppsala-Kurd FK put an end to any potential revival, scoring again through Oliver Tiderström in the 90th minute, making it 1-4.
The match ended 1-4 in favor of Uppsala-Kurd FK, who took home three points from Viksjövallen. The fans left the arena disappointed while Uppsala-Kurd FK celebrated a well-deserved victory.
