In tonight's Division 3 Östra Svealand match at Ekebydalens IP, Upsala IF faced Täby FK. Despite an attendance of 45 people, it was Täby FK who dominated the match from the outset.
Just 7 minutes into the game, Täby took the lead through Johan Folcker. However, Upsala quickly responded, and Joakim Sandman equalized to make it 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. After that, Täby took control of the match, and Gabriel Carlsson received a yellow card in the 34th minute.
At halftime, Täby made a substitution, bringing in Jonas Lindström for Bejoy Khan. This turned out to be a successful move as Täby extended their lead in the second half. Jacob Planell scored to make it 2-1 in the 54th minute, followed by Anton Lindberg who found the net with the goal for 3-1 just a minute later.
Upsala tried to swap out players in an effort to turn the match around, but Täby continued to be effective. Burak Arslanoglu scored both the 4-1 goal in the 73rd minute and then assisted William Prtics for the goal in the 90th minute, which set the final score at 5-1.
Referee Pontus Orebrand blew the whistle to end the match, and Täby FK could head home with a resounding victory, while Upsala IF must return to training to try and find their way back to winning form.
