The match between Vallentuna BK and Västerås IK at Vallentuna IP 1 started intensely with both teams fighting to take the lead. However, it was Västerås IK who managed to find the net first when Daniel Johansson scored a beautiful free kick, placing the ball behind Vallentuna BK’s goalkeeper.

Västerås continued to press, and Nicholas Braithwaite extended the lead to 2-0 just before halftime with another impressive free kick goal. Vallentuna tried to respond but struggled to get close to the goal, and Västerås IK held onto their lead heading into the second half.

Despite several attempts to come back, Vallentuna BK did not manage to get the ball into the net until the end of the match when Jack Vestberg reduced the score to 1-2. Despite a strong finish from Vallentuna, it was not enough to turn the match around, and Västerås IK secured three points.

Referee Jakob Lejonstad had full control of the match and issued a couple of warnings in the second half, with both Västerås IK’s Gabriel Medina and Shahram Said finding themselves in the referee's book.

The audience witnessed an exciting match despite Vallentuna IP 1 being completely empty of spectators. After the final whistle, Västerås IK could celebrate their important victory while Vallentuna BK took away a lesson for their next match.
