Täby FK secured a very convincing victory over IFK Uppsala at Tibblevallen on Sunday afternoon. The home team’s performance was superior, controlling the match from start to finish. Täby started the match with their usual confidence, but Uppsala was strong and alert. After 22 minutes, Täby's Victor Forssell received a yellow card from referee Jonathan Varli, followed by two additional yellow cards for Täby players in the first half: for Robin Blomgren and Nils Lindahl.
However, at the beginning of the second half, Täby showed why they are the league leaders. Daniel Sterner scored a fantastic goal in the 46th minute, ensuring that the home team took the lead and gained control of the match. Hugo Näslund struck the ball into the net in the 57th minute, and Uppsala appeared increasingly frustrated. Nevertheless, Uppsala tried to find a way back into the match, but Täby remained fiery, and Täby's Harald Samuelson netted a third goal in the 82nd minute.
Uppsala made a few substitutions in the hope of managing something in the closing stages of the match, but Täby was completely superior and dominant. The final score of 3-0 was not unjust after a very good performance and a well-played match from Täby’s side. Täby continues to lead Division 3 Östra Svealand as the teams head into the next round, while IFK Uppsala remains second to last in the standings.
