The match started intensely, with both teams fighting for the lead. Heby AIF had a good chance in the 20th minute when Rasmus Östergård-Hansen scored to make it 1-0 for the home team. Sala FF tried to equalize, but it was instead Heby AIF who extended their lead early in the second half when Joakim Sunding scored 2-0.

However, Sala FF did not give up, and Henok Fanus Ghebre reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 68th minute. Despite several dangerous chances from both teams, neither was able to score again.

When the final whistle blew, it was clear that Heby AIF had won the match 2-1 and secured three important points in the quest for a better position in the table. The spectators at Tegelvallen Konstgräs were treated to an exciting and well-played match between the two teams.
