It was a thrilling goal fest when Hanaskogs IS faced Wä IF in a Division 3 match for women at Västra Heds IP A-plan this Sunday afternoon. In front of an audience of 75 and under the leadership of referee Mollie Hubertsson, the home team took the lead already in the 16th minute. It was Amanda Glans who scored the first goal of the match.
Just one minute later, Hanaskogs had reason to cheer again. Alma Eriksson scored the goal that allowed the home team to extend their lead to 2-0.
Wä IF tried to control the game and find their way back into the match, and in the 22nd minute, the ball found its way past Hanaskogs' goalkeeper. Nadja Andersson took advantage and reduced the score to 3-1.
But Hanaskogs IS had no plans to lose their grip on the match, and Amanda Glans scored the third goal in the match after only 33 minutes. It was truly a super day for Glans, who thus also found the net in the home team's two first goals.
Wä IF wanted to keep fighting and aimed for the goal. At the end of the first half, Vera Waldén managed to get the ball past Hanaskogs' goalkeeper. The halftime score was therefore 4-2 in favor of the home team.
The second half started with an offensive Wä IF and some half-chances. However, Hanaskogs IS kept their cool and were able to extend their lead in the 64th minute through Alma Eriksson.
In the final moments of the match, Hanaskogs had another opportunity to celebrate as Amanda Glans stepped up to take a penalty and scored her third goal of the match. The final score read 6-2 in favor of Hanaskogs IS in a match that saw Amanda Glans have the match of her life with a hat trick.
