IFK Osby impressed greatly when they hosted Hörby FF on Saturday afternoon at Osby IP C-plan artificial turf. The home team started the match strongly and had several dangerous shots on goal. However, it wasn't until the 25th minute that they found the net. After a beautiful attack, Mia Johansson managed to score in the Hörby goal – and the crowd in the stands rose and cheered.
Hörby FF tried to get back into the match, but they were pushed back by Osby, who continued to play aggressively and created several chances. It didn't take long before they scored another goal. After a nice pass from Sara Andersson, Jennie Olsson struck a powerful volley to extend Osby's lead.
In the second half, Hörby improved their play and created a few chances, but it was Osby that continued to control the game. They earned a free kick just outside the penalty area, and Cathrin Söderberg stepped up and took a well-placed shot that completely outsmarted the Hörby goalkeeper.
The match ended 3 – 0 in favor of IFK Osby, who maintained their impressive form and secured another victory. It was a well-deserved win that they will surely celebrate into the night. Hörby FF will need to go back and reconsider their strategy for the next match, while IFK Osby continues to aim for the top of the division.
