Röke IP A-plan was filled with eager fans when Röke IF and Wä IF faced off in Division 3 Skåne Northern for women on Friday evening. Riz Muriq blew the whistle to start the match, and it soon became clear that both teams were really pumped up.
It didn't take long for Röke IF to take the lead through Sandra Malm in the 12th minute. However, Wä IF continued to fight and had several dangerous chances going forward, but Röke IF's defense held strong.
In the second half, Wä IF once again showed their strength and managed to equalize through Vera Waldén in the 66th minute. But Röke IF did not give up and kept battling. In the 81st minute, their efforts paid off when Tuva Bothom launched a well-placed shot that went past Wä IF's goalkeeper and into the net.
Wä IF desperately tried to get an equalizer at the end of the match, but Röke IF's defense held firm, and the match ended 2-1 in favor of Röke IF.
The match was characterized by hard play, and in the 89th minute, Viktoria Bojanovic from Röke IF received a yellow card after a tough challenge.
