It was a sunny but windy Sunday afternoon at Sparbanksvallen in Bjärnum when the women's team of Bjärnums GoIF faced Hanaskogs IS in a match in Division 3 Skåne Norra. After a promising start from Bjärnum, it was instead Hanaskogs who took the lead after just over 20 minutes with an unfortunate own goal from the home team.
The second half began with increased pressure from the visiting team, and after nearly an hour, Amanda Glans scored for Hanaskogs, making it 2-0. Bjärnum tried to fight their way back into the match, but this day it was Hanaskogs that had full control of the situation. With just over two minutes left of regular time, Felicia Johansson scored the third goal for the guests, and shortly thereafter, Alma Eriksson completed the victory with another goal for Hanaskogs.
When the final whistle blew, it was clear that Bjärnums GoIF had been defeated 0-4 at home. With an attendance of only 62 spectators, they had to fight without much cheering from the small crowd in the stands. The referee for the day, Dan Andersen, had little to do in a match that was mostly dominated by Hanaskogs, who took a well-deserved victory with a score of 4-0 over Bjärnums GoIF.
