It was an outstanding performance by Wä IF when they defeated Näsums IF with a staggering 9-0 at Öllervallen A-plan. The match started with a strong opening from Wä IF, and just 10 minutes in, they took the lead through Nadja Andersson, who would go on to score four goals in the match.
Astrid Olsson then extended the lead to 2-0 in the 37th minute before Nadja Andersson scored her second goal just before halftime, making it 3-0 for Wä IF at the break.
In the second half, Wä IF continued to dominate, and the goals kept coming. Alexandra Peghmo made it 4-0 before Nadja Andersson netted her third and fourth goals of the day. Vera Waldén also contributed with two goals, resulting in a resounding victory for Wä IF with a final score of 9-0.
Despite an effort by Näsums IF to fight back, they were unable to threaten Wä IF's superior play. Referee Serkan Degirmenci maintained good control of the match, keeping his cards in his pocket except for one warning issued to Vera Waldén.
With this impressive victory, Wä IF strengthens its position in Division 3 Skåne Östra and shows that they are a team to be reckoned with in the league. Näsums IF, on the other hand, will have to go back to the drawing board and work on coming back stronger in their next match.
