Skurups IP A-plan was the venue on Saturday afternoon for an exciting women’s match between Skurups AIF and Sjöbo IF in Division 3 Skåne Södra. In front of an audience of 50 people and under the guidance of referee Goran Sandic, it was Skurups AIF that took the lead in the first half with a goal from Fatime Rezai in the 34th minute.
However, in the second half, Sjöbo IF appeared to have found their rhythm, turning the match around by scoring four goals in 12 minutes. My Olsson equalized in the 59th minute before Saga Persson made it 1-2 in the 65th. Jackie Wejnor extended the lead to 1-3 in the 67th minute, and My Olsson scored her second goal of the day in the 71st minute.
Sjöbo IF had complete control over the match and finished by scoring their fifth goal in the 87th minute, thanks to Tilda Ostrell. Sjöbo IF’s coach Stavros Mpatsiaris received a warning during the match.
The final score was 1-5 in favor of Sjöbo IF, which was a deserved victory after an impressive performance in the second half.
