It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Lomma IP when GIF Nike faced Husie IF in Division 3 Skåne Sydvästra for women. The crowd of 45 gathered to see the two teams compete on the artificial turf of the A-field.
Referee Tony Engström blew the whistle to start the match, and it didn't take long for the visiting team Husie IF to take the lead. Olivia Uszko scored the first goal in the 13th minute, followed by another goal from Elisa Zuta in the 17th minute. Agnes Johansson then increased the lead to 0-3 in the 26th minute.
GIF Nike fought hard and managed to pull one back with a penalty from Disa Andersson Wixenius in the 30th minute. But Husie IF continued to dominate, and Nellie Zielinski extended the lead to 1-4 before halftime.
In the second half, Husie IF remained the stronger team, and Elisa Zuta scored her second goal in the 59th minute. Despite a consolation goal from Felicia Danås for GIF Nike in the 69th minute, Husie IF kept pushing forward, and Elisa Zuta completed her hat trick with another penalty in the 81st minute. Olivia Uszko and Saga Möllerström also each managed to score before the match ended.
Despite a late goal from GIF Nike by Saga Möllerström in the 86th minute, it was Husie IF who emerged victorious from the match with a score of 3-7. Olivia Uszko also received a yellow card in the 55th minute, while Lydia Yonas received a yellow card for GIF Nike in the closing stages of the match. An impressive performance and a well-deserved victory for Husie IF.
