Åkarps IF did not give up, and in the 62nd minute, Hannah Sahli managed to reduce the deficit for the home team, giving them some hope for an equalizer. Despite a late surge from Åkarps IF, they were unable to score any more goals, and the match ended 3-2 in favor of Lunds BOIS.
