Lunds BOIS faced a difficult task when they hosted Fortuna FF on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately for the home team, it was not a particularly successful afternoon at Gunnesbo Gård A-plan. Right from the first minute of the match, Fortuna FF took the lead with a brilliant strike from Emy Petersson Wennborg. The situation would not improve for Lunds BOIS.

Marielle Karlsson was one of the best players of the day, scoring two of Fortuna FF’s goals in the first 45 minutes of the match. Emmie Persson also added a goal before halftime. Fortuna FF went into the break with a comfortable 0-4 lead.

In the second half, Fortuna FF remained dominant, and Marielle Karlsson completed her hat-trick with a third goal. After that, the goals came one after another, and by the final whistle, it was 0-8 in favor of Fortuna FF.

Lunds BOIS had little to be happy about after the match as they missed several chances to score, but Fortuna FF was superior today and controlled the match throughout. With today’s victory, Fortuna FF secured an important three points and continues to challenge at the top of Division 3 Skåne Västra for women.
