Furulunds IK had a fantastic match against GIF Nike on Saturday morning at Ljungvalla IP A-plan in Division 3 Skåne Västra. The audience was not present to watch the match, but that did not stop the home team from completely dominating the field.
Already in the 14th minute, Furulunds IK took the lead when Lina Berglund scored a great goal. A couple of minutes later, Moa Setterborn increased the lead to 2-0 with a header. The home team continued to press, and in the 33rd minute, Isabelle Henriksson scored with a beautiful shot. Annie Paulsson added two goals in quick succession, resulting in a 5-0 lead for Furulunds IK before halftime.
The second half was no exception for Furulunds IK, who continued to dominate the match. Alice Andersson and Sandra Welander also managed to score, and ten minutes into the second half, it was 6-0 to Furulunds IK. Emma Larsson and Alice Andersson scored two more goals, and by the end of the match, it was 9-0 to the home team.
GIF Nike struggled to keep up with the match, and the superiority of Furulunds IK was evident from the start. The referee, Sofia Wigerup, did an excellent job managing the match, and both teams played fairly.
Furulunds IK celebrated the victory of a very well-executed match, while GIF Nike left the field disappointed with the result. With this victory, Furulunds IK remains at the top of the table in Division 3 Skåne Västra.
