On Saturday afternoon, an intense match was played at Lomma IP A-field with artificial turf between GIF Nike and Råå IF in Division 3 Skåne West for women. Unfortunately, there was no audience present, but that did not stop the teams from giving it their all.
Referee Bekim Sazlija blew the whistle to start the match, and it didn't take long before Råå IF took the lead. In the thirteenth minute, Rebecca Hemberg scored to make it 0-1 for the away team. Råå IF continued to apply pressure, and just six minutes later, Mariella Löndahl increased the lead to 0-2.
But GIF Nike would not give up that easily, and in the 39th minute, Emelie Engdahl scored a beautiful goal to reduce the score to 1-2. The second half became even more exciting when Hilda Kruger equalized to 2-2 in the 61st minute. GIF Nike continued to fight, and in the 67th minute, Amanda Rosquist made it 3-2 for the home team.
Råå IF had several attempts to equalize towards the end of the match, but GIF Nike held on and won 3-2.
After the match, it was clear that this season was over, and GIF Nike finished second to last in the table. Råå IF finished in sixth place in the standings.
