Västerviks women's football IF totally dominated the match against Madesjö IF at home at Bökensved this Sunday afternoon. Already in the sixth minute, Sara Ströberg opened the scoring for Västervik and the team continued to press on.
Michaela Degerman extended the lead to 2-0 just seven minutes later, followed by goals from Vilma Winqvist and Allis Winqvist before halftime. Vilma Winqvist showed her skill in front of goal and managed a hat-trick before the half-time break.
The second half continued in the same tone with goals from both Degerman and Vilma Winqvist again. Anja Svensson put the nail in the coffin with her goal in the 81st minute and the match ended with an overwhelming victory for Västerviks damsfotboll IF 9-0.
The crowd in attendance, which consisted of 52 spectators, really got to see a goal celebration by the home team who displayed an impressive performance on the pitch. Referee Yoonis Mohamed Husein Abdullahi had a calm and easy match to judge and Västervik's players could celebrate a well-deserved victory.
After this win, Västerviks damsfotboll IF ended this year's season in a strong second place in the table. It was a really fighting and impressive team to watch and the players can be proud of their performance during the season.
