It was a match played entirely without spectators as Dösjöbro IF faced Nosaby IF on the B pitch at Dösjöbro IP. Despite that, both teams created a couple of good goal-scoring opportunities in the first half. However, it was the guests from Nosaby who took the lead after 41 minutes of play. Karl Rydhög found the net, and the home team had to work hard to come back after the break.
But it didn't get any easier for Dösjöbro in the second half. After ten minutes, Daniel Kardum extended the visitors' lead to 2-0, which felt like a steep uphill battle for the home team. Yet, Dösjöbro did not give up and substituted in Hugo Möllerstedt, which proved to be a wise change.
After 73 minutes, Fredrik Lövgren received a nice pass in front of goal and reduced the deficit for the home team, giving the home crowd (even though there wasn’t one) hope for an equalizer. Nosaby tried to hold on, and Marcus Andersson received a yellow card after 74 minutes, but it was just a prelude to what was to come.
With two minutes left on the clock, Dösjöbro was awarded a penalty, and Fredrik Lövgren converted it into a goal. The home crowd (which still wasn’t there) erupted with joy when the equalizer was scored. The match ultimately finished 2-2, a result that Nosaby is surely dissatisfied with, while Dösjöbro is pleased to have earned a point against a stronger team in the standings.
