The match started at Ymorvallen A-plan in front of an empty stand as no spectators had attended the match between FC Trelleborg and BK Flagg. Referee Stefan Jovanovic blew the whistle to start the match, and the home team, FC Trelleborg, took control from the beginning.

In the 16th minute, the first goal of the match came when Jetullah Bahtiri scored to make it 1-0 for FC Trelleborg. However, the joy was short-lived as Robin Bergsten was sent off for the home team just before halftime. BK Flagg took advantage of the numerical superiority, and Fabian Gustafsson equalized to 1-1 from the penalty spot in the 42nd minute.

The second half started strong for FC Trelleborg with two quick goals from Emir Rozajac and Kevin Fridlund in the 55th and 57th minutes. Kevin Fridlund stayed hot and scored his second goal of the day in the 63rd minute.

BK Flagg reduced the deficit to 4-2 with a penalty by Fabian Gustafsson in the 70th minute, but Joel Svendsen drove the nail in the coffin with his goal to make it 5-2 for FC Trelleborg in the 72nd minute.

The match ended without any further goals, and FC Trelleborg secured three important points in their quest to climb the table. BK Flagg left the field disappointed after a tough match where they could not recover after the home team's strong second half.
