Malmö City FC made two substitutions late in the match to try to secure the win, and they did so successfully. Kvarnby IK had one last chance from a free-kick situation, but the ball sailed high over the goal, and the match ended with a 3-2 victory for Malmö City FC.

With this win, Malmö City FC moves up to fourth place in the standings, while Kvarnby IK remains at the bottom. Malmö City FC's next match will be away against Österlen FF, while Kvarnby IK will visit IFK Trelleborg.
